Default Milwaukee heat gun questions

Hello!

I am on the path to buy my very first heat gun! I already did some research on it and have my heart set on Milwaukee heat gun because it has gotten rave reviews from almost every owner.

I want to know where can I buy the Milwaukee heat gun, which model I should buy and how much is it?

I haven’t been able to find a lot of information on my questions :( Most Milwaukee owners seem to own it for at least a few years and they paid around $30-$40. Some got theirs at Michaels but I already checked my local Michaels and they have never heard of the brand. I also can’t seem to find it on the manufacture’s website (current heat guns from the Milwaukee here and they seem to be very industrial).

My other option if Milwaukee falls through is Ranger’s Heat It!

Thanks!

I would recommend the Marvy Uchida Heat gun. It does not get too hot like tools designed for a more industrial use.
You can get the Marvy Uchida at Mike's

Default Milwaukee Heat Tool

Hi, I've had my Milwaukee heat tool for probably 15 years. Its the same model as Cathleen noted in her post above, the Model 1400. It's still available as you can see in the links someone else provided. Good luck!

I bought my Milwaukee through The Angel Company over 10 years ago. It came in very handy when we bought our 103 year old Victorian and I needed to strip alot of the wood work. :p

It works great. My only complaint is that it does blow stuff around quite a bit. I haven't tried the heat guns on the market for crafting. Ranger's might be a better option if it doesn't blow as strong.

You can get the Milwaukee heat gun here:

I hope you enjoy. BTW... a tip to help stop the blowing around is to heat the paper from underneath.
