I have used chalk and the dye inks and I don't know if I like them. Most of my acrylics are stamps in which I color or letter fonts so I tend to use black a lot. I was wondering if I should purchase a red stazon pad to get a NICE CRISP image for the wings?? Or possibly a craft ink pad? thoughts/opinions??
I haven't inked up my Little Lady set yet, as it just arrived a few hours ago, but with my Green Thumb I've gotten great images just using classic ink.
I used the Palette ink for the black and my Real Red Classic SU! pad. I think it turned out well. I have not heard that StazOn is bad for these stamps, although the cleaner is not good for them. {Just what I heard, don't actually know this}
Palette inks work so well on acrylic (clear) stamps as does VersaMagic, Brilliance and ColorBox Chalks. I am working with my Ranger Adirondacks Inks now to see how they do.

Ditto on the Palette Noir Black and SU! classic real red. And it turned out bright, clear and beautiful! I have found that I didn't get as nice an image with the GP paper from Walmart or my other cheaper cardstock. I got best results with Whisper White from SU! I did have to wait for it to dry good. And I always hold the stamp down for about 5 second on a solid stamp just to make sure the paper gets a chance to absorb the ink good. Even the red classic ink took a while to soak in but was just so juicy vibrant red and black. LUV IT!
So glad to get some tips. I used the Palette inks, but they just didn't give me the coverage I wanted - I must not have given the cardstock a chance to soak it all in. I switched to Stazon, but since I wanted color coordination, I used mustard and pumpkin. Looks AWESOME! I cleaned with TAC's cleaner, and my stamps are now a very neat shade (which I love - stained stamps, shows me they're loved).
So, I need to know if the stazon cleaner really is bad, and if so, does that mean stazon is also a no-no?
Has anyone gotten brave enough to cut off the teensy ladybug from the stamped by stamp? I am thinking it might look really cute as a border if used alone!
OK...Glad I found this thread. Just got my box from papertrey. My little lady stamp set. This is my "First" clear stamp set. I did order the little block set. So I just put them on the blocks?? What is this about cleaner not being good for them?? What do I clean them with?? Also got 4 of the Pallette ink pads. Is the black really waterproof??
