Boat or fishing stamp suggestion needed
 

My Granddaughter asked me to make a birthday card for her boyfriend. He loves his boat and fishing. Any ideas of nice stamps that have boats, anchors , fishing gear , etc?

Whipper Snapper Designs has several sets of cute boating and fishing or individual stamps. I have the "Great Outdoors" set and it has a truck pulling a camp trailer and a boat. "Hooked on Fishing" has a chicken fishing in a boat and is so cute!

Flourishes recently released a fishing set for Father's Day. The stamps have a lot of detail and aren't cutesy, like Whipper Snapper.

I spoke again to my Grand daughter and she wants a "Nautical Theme " She is having a Nautical theme for his Birthday party
Pick' ins are slim!!

The only one I found that is nice is Gina K's set with the light house.

Flourishes has one but it is a large old fashioned sail boat. He has a speed boat
She doesn't want a paddle boat with a fisherman

There are no speed boats or nice old fashioned compasses . With Father's Day on Sunday most places are out of stamps with decorative boat anchors. No stamps with sailors knots

Who'd have thunk it that it would be so difficult to find Nautical theme stamps :roll:

I can imagine a focal image of a large decorative boat anchor in pewter with a red and white rope entwined around it . sigh

Thanks also for the link to the tutorial for the Sailor's Knot. I think I am going to make the card in Easel style so the Sailor's Knot on the bottom piece that holds it open will be perfect.

These sites have some really great images that work really well as digi stamps and not the typical cutsie type colouring pages.

Mo's Digital Pencil has a nice boat digital. I've made several cards with it.
