I am interested in buying this Monogram stamper....my question to get started Im thinking of buying the smaller one letter stamp or should I invest in the bigger one that does 3 letters? If anyone has any thoughts or recomendations on these sets, I would love advice.
I would definitely suggest getting the wood stampers (not the self-inking). It just provides a lot more flexibility. The only time I would recommend the self-inker is if you know you are going to do a huge volume in the same color (like hundreds of wedding invites or thank-your cards). Then the self-inker might be well worth it. But I would still get the wood stampers too.
I have the self-inker and the wood stamper (in three sizes now, plus the retangular set) and seldom use the self-inker. If you check out their website, they have tons of stamps on sale right now. I just got a huge box yesterday! The $1 self-inked sentiments are a great buy -- you don't have to feel guilty about buying one of each! Check out all their sale items -- I bought one of the specials where if you buy the oval wood stamper set, you get the add-on for $3.95. I bought the smaller of those two. Buy one of the sets with the round wood stamper (I bought one that is a monogram and use it all the time) and maybe some of the alphabet sets. I need to get another alphabet set because I'm finding that I want different styles of letters.

I purchased 7 new sets when they were 2 for 1 near Christmas from justritestamps. I used the extras for Xmas gifts for my two sisters. I have all the sets now except the ovals. They are next. These are awesome stamps.
blessings.

I believe that they are rubber and have little tabs that secure to the lines on the blocks. But I am not sure. My order is on the way via UPS and should be here soon, I will let you know for sure when I get them.

I received my order yesterday! Yeah! I will be playing with them this weekend. I am now wishing that I ordered the Harmony Classic Oval I Set. Oh well, I will have something for my wish list, I guess!
I'm just getting hooked and I'm so excited I don't know what to buy first and what I'll use the most - I want it all!!! Can someone help me make up my mind? I'm pretty sure I want the wood but where do you start? Such decisions
So far, I have the small and medium sized round wood stampers, as well as several borders and three fonts. I find myself using the small round stamp the most at this point. I love the Damask borders that allow you to use only one letter, but have also used other narrower borders and made three-letter monograms. Keep in mind that even if you get the Damask border set, the stamp itself is still VERY versatile! I have absolutely loved these stamps and have had a lot of fun making monogram cards and also made the focal image for my Christmas cards, too. Can't wait to get more . . .
It is easy...I didnt know what I needed so I got some of everything...now I know what I need...lol. I wish they would have the 2 for 1 again...I would get everything I dont have...
Blessings;

Check out the link I posted in Post #3 above. It has a great explanation about making decisions for your first order.
