Big Shot Pro???

Hey all...is it really worth it? I am a self proclaimed die cutting machine addict. The big dies I see make me drool and I am seriously close to blowing a big wad on a pro but I want to know if anyone has had problems or concerns? My last dealings with sizzix went fabulous..I ummm pushed my Big Shot a little too hard with shims and sheared the gear assembly..They replaced and sent instructions for $5! I was worried I would have to buy a new machine or ship it there but no problems and the repair instructions were great. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

The folks at Sizzix are very nice. I love my Pro. It'll cut any die out there.

I have had my BSPro for over a year and my only regret is that i didnt buy it sooner.......

I am so ready to get one, too. I was very tempted to buy some of the accucut dies when they were on sale on BF, even though I only have the regular BS. I am ready to sell my Cricut and cartridges to fund the new purchase!

PS - where did you buy yours from?

Santa just brought mine today! I'm so excited! I teach classes so this will be such a time savings when prepping for class as I will be able to cut more than one die at a time when using the regular bigz and xl dies in one fell swoop. I won't have to use the stores machine now, can cut everything in the comfort of my own craft room. Woo Hoo!!!

Thats what i did. I sold my smaller Big Shot and my Cricut/cartridges and bought the BSP. So to answer your question, yes it is worth it! I have never regretted what i did, only wished i would have did it sooner. I bought the purple one on Overstock.com.

The Accucut dies work beautifully in the BSP too! I fell in love with those box and envelope dies from Accucut. I'm saving up to buy more. LOL!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my BS Pro...I have the Purple Westminster, scored a fabby deal on it at Overstock.com...it is amazing.I do recommend getting the new shims for it that let you cut the larger Nesties and such. But it is an incredible machine - I also love to die cut and I use my BS Pro a LOT....it does take up a good chunk of space, but its worth it!

OK..so now the Loving Boyfriend knows what the next gift is...lol my family jokes that we keep putting off getting married so we can both fund our hobbies (if they only knew....) Maybe I can convince him to find a ring die and get me a BSP instead of an engagement ring

I love my BSP too! I am not sure why more people don't have it. It is AWESOME!!! I love being able to cut ANY die!!!!! I don't even sweat buying dies at the store, I KNOW it will cut it! I will say the weight of the machine is a down side.....because it is heavy but I know it is quality!!!!

I love my BSP. It is a sturdy strong machine. It has many adapters, shims and additionals so it does cuts all dies on the market. Since I'm a die collector I know. My favorie BSP die that I use the most are the rose dies!
