Big Shot/Cuttlebug Question
 

I have a cuttlebug and I love it...but I've seen several cards in the galleries with a paisley embossed background that is listed as Big Shot.

I have searched and can not find the answer to this...

Can you use Big Shot embossing folders with the bug? If so, where can I get the paisley folder?

I remember reading somewhere that you can use them. I dont own a bug, just a couple folders I use with the rolling pin:)

Well, we all *hope* Provo Craft will come out with a Paisley folder, but I haven't heard anything yet. Haven't visited their blog in awhile, though.

I think the paisley you're seeing is from the BISK--Big Impressions Starter Kit--which is now discontinued. It was the same idea as a Fiskars texture plate, but black.

I used the fiskar plates with my cuttlebug and it worked fine but when I used the BigImpression plate (Paisley) It broke my cuttlebug. The whole side of the cuttlebug came off and would not work at all after that. After breaking my cuttlebug I was afraid to get another so I purchased the Bigkick from Costco. I am very happy with the bigkick and have not had any trouble running any of the plates through it. I have used the cuttlebug embossing folders and the dies with my Bigkick and they work great.
