Default Brillance Ink Pads

They say they can be used on acetate and glossy papers or anything non pourous. So then are these basically the same thing as Staz On but just a different brand?

Not really, Jen, Staz On are specifically made for difficult shiny surfaces, whereas Brilliance CAN be used on smooth surfaces if you are really careful and have a steady hand or they will slip and slide all over your acetate. They can also be embossed, although I find that they don't pick up the powder particularly well for me as they dry very quickly.
Brilliance are my favorite ink pads, especially the pearlescent and the white. The pearlescent pads just have the most gorgeous sheen to them, my favorite being the pearlescent beige. You do really have to see these pads in person though, they don't photograph or scan very well.
The brilliance metallic are supposed to be gorgeous too, although haven't tried them but they are top of my wish list.

Brilliance ink pads are pigment ink. StaZon is a solvent ink. I love the Brilliance pads. They dry much more quickly than most pigment or craft ink pads that I've used and the colors are beautiful.
