Default Update on rototrims please

I am just DONE with 2020.

So I decided I would like to finally invest in a rototrim that I have been lusting after for years. I was given a bday gift I can apply too so it seems the universe is saying go for it.

But there are a lot of different models.
Can any owners talk about theirs and would they get a different one now, pros/cons of their model? I tried to search rototrims here, but mostly they are small postings inside general cutter discussions and people saying they love them.

Ie I cant decide if I want a 15 inch or a 12 inch. I do cut up 12" DP...

Thanks.

I feel you! And it's the best money you'll spend. I have the 15" and love it. I do cut things larger than 12" like watercolor paper and wrapping paper and stuff for my junk journal.

Enjoy!

I was hoping you would pop in Lydia! So no downsides? I know you have had it for years.

Good point! WC paper! I have bigger than 12"!! I did not even think of that! thank you!

You have this guy- I am looking on AZ bc my gift money is there:

There is only one and it is 290/free ship

BUT there is this "new" one that is supposed to be replacing it for 235/free ship and I see it in other places for the same price. Which makes me suspicious. Maybe there is more plastic on it?

The new one is a couple inches bigger in all directions and weighs an extra couple pounds which is not surprising.

It claims to be improved of course. The markings are different but I dont know that I see anything else?

Could people look at it for me and let me know what you think? It would be cool if I can save 60 bucks!
