I'm looking for an "alterable" 3-ring binder. BUT - I want an 8 1/2 X 11 one. I've found 5 X 7. Anyone know where I could find one? Or how I could take apart a plastic covered one, hinge it and recover it so it's "sturdy"????

You might take a look at the "old fashioned" binders that are covered in cloth (often dull blue) rather than plastic. They are quite sturdy, inexpensive and will hold glue so you can cover them with cardstock.
American Crafts' Modern 3 ring albums are great. They have cloth spines and raw chipboard covers. Those are the ones I use for my layouts.
I get them here at the best price: http://www.scrappingrannies.com/albu...ums_order
thanks ladies! I knew someone here could help me out. The closet HL is 45 minutes away, might need to make a road trip outta it Saturday afternoon. If they don't have it, then I'll order the ones that Anilu linked.
