Balsa wood in diecut machine?

Wondering if anyone cuts balsa wood. I have seen 1/16 inch and 1/32 inch thickness. Which thickness is the machine best able to cut, while still having the finished die cut come out somewhat sturdy? I have a Big Shot Pro, and I use many different brands of dies. Thanks!

Found this list in the Big Shot Sticky. I have not tried this. http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...l#post10974278

I've cut thin wood veneer sheets with my Big Shot and it works fine. Anything thicker than that makes me nervous that it will wreck my machine. The list in the link says 3/32" balsa wood and I may give that a go next time I go to the craft store.

I don't have a link but I've seen balsa wood used before.

Cutting Balsa Wood

I have cut thin balsa thru my Big Shot machines. The only thing I noticed is that it tends to crack, especially with the more detailed dies. It sometimes helps to back it with paper and or spritz it with water. Some dies will work better than others.
