Default How to Use Marianne Dies

I've had no problem with the butterfly or other Marianne dies I have, but the Cathedral Window only cuts on the edges! I have a Cuttlebug and I've tried every combination of A/B/C, I've tried adding layers of paper, I tried a piece of rubber - nothing lets the whole rectangle come through cut.
Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I've seen people use tape to build up the areas, but someone complained that it messed up her die when she did that. Instead of using tape, try cutting smaller pieces of paper that you can use as shims over the areas that won't cut. If that area is lower than the rest, it might help press those areas more.

You might also try putting the cutting side up on the die when you run it through. My dies used to work either way, but as my Cuttlebug has gotten older, it cuts better with the dies cutting side up.

Can you return it where you bought it for another one? Sounds like a lot of trouble for something you paid good money for.

I was having the hardest time trying to cut out my Spellbinder Carnation Creation dies, yet I had no problem with the Rose Creation or my Marianne Butterfly. I just needed to give a couple of extra passes to get a full cut with those. I was near pulling my hair out in frustration, ready to send the set back coz I was certain it was faulty when my LSS suggested I try it thru their machine. Perfect cut! Turns out my rollers in my CB were worn down in the middle, and no amount of shimming helped my problem.

I'd suggest testing the die in another CB first.
