My story--I had reason to google myself this week and after I found what I wanted, I tapped more posts.
Among the posts was one stating I had won a Gelato Kit on a Blog hop contest.
I had not known this.
I contacted the host company of the blog just to find out for future reference how notification was made since I had never received it and I have been following and commenting on their blog hops for years.
They informed me the contest was sponsored by Faber- Castle. I emailed them and asked them about notification methods. They replied quickly and informed me they really wanted me to have my prize.
The thing here is the contest was in 2013.
This all took place on Tuesday of this week. Today is Friday and I received my prize by fed ex a short time ago. I am now heading to my dungeon to play with my new tools.
Many thanks to Faber-Castell. I love their products and their customer service has proven to be awesome.
Congrats! I often wonder what happens to these giveaways, and so glad you were still able to get your prize! Huge Faber Castell fan here also - this just reinforces my opinion.

Yay for you! Kind of off topic, but I just received $50 from my state's unclaimed property listed on the state treasurer's website. Ok.gov got me to the site where I downloaded a form, filled it in and mailed it. It probably took 6 weeks or so, AND I have no idea What I Didn't Claim at some point. Not tax refund. Try it in your own state and see if you have some "unclaimed property."
