Can Cuttlebog or Wizard be used with Stampin Up Textured Impressions?
I would really like to use the Stampin Up Textured Impressions and would like to know what the sandwich recipe is to use them with the Cuttlebug and/or Spellbinders Wizard. Please let me know if either or both of these tools can be used. Thank you.
Yes I have used the plates in my Cuttlebug however I did not get a very deep impression. I believe that's how they are supposed to work, because they are not an actual folder. I tried wetting my cardstock a bit and that helped. Loved the end result on envelopes.
I'm thinking I used the normal sandwich stack same as I would for an embossing folder. Perhaps someone with more knowledge will pop in with more information.
Just practice, it will build your confidence, Have fun! Janice
Yes I have used the Stampin Up Textured Impressions with my Wizzard many times. I am not sure of the the reipe I am sorry to say, I am sure someone has the recipe. I just played around till it worked.
I've used the textured impressions plates in my wizard with this sandwich:
White Cutting Mat
textured impressions plate
paper
tan embossing pad
Blue charm mat or white embossing mat
Depending on the thickness of the paper, I have found you might need to use the blue mat rather than the white mat. Also, you'll get a deeper, more lasting impression if you mist your paper lightly with water or spray with Paper Glide.
