I have one but I don't die cut so I just use it for the templates and my nestabilities. So far, pretty good investment and I haven't bought anymore templates since I got it for Christmas although I'd love to get the dot ones when they reappear again.

Nope, I got the Cuttlekids for my DD and that satisfied my curiosity. DIes were a LOT cheaper and very cute --

I know the adult version can do so much but I just couldn't justify the cost, what with the money I have spent over the years on stamps and paper.

I don't have the 'bug' either.lol I see it all the time, the other day dh was with me at M's and he picked it up and put it in the cart, with some accessories but when I saw it I asked him what HE was going to do with it. rofl He wanted to get it for me and I told him that although it was sweet in gesture, not really something up my alley. He's so cute. lol Nope, no bugs here, no Rubicoil- just my crop a dile. lol

I don't have a cuttlebug machine. I am still using the old big red sizzix machine. I really figure why buy a new machine when mine can do all the same stuff. I use the cuttlebug dies, cuttlebug folders, quickutz dies, all that.

Have a Sizzix that uses CB folders just fine. Don't have room for any more machines !

I *do* have tons of Cuttlebug embossing folders and dies - thanks to eclectic Paperie!

Do you have a scrapbook store near you that will let you play with some machines to see which one you would like?? Our Scrapbook store has a few different types that you can go in and use free if you buy the paper there, or a small charge if you bring your own paper/cardstock... Fun to try out and see what works or not for you....

I also got mine for $40...and I'm a poor college student! It's been really great so far. Also, you can sign up at ucutathome.com and they send a 40% off coupon every month (this may have already been said). Then you can get the Nesties and stuff a little at a time! It will make your life so much easier! Plus, you can use the embossing folders which are like 5 bucks each- totally worth it!

No bug for me either. I do have an old Zip e' mate though. It works just fine for the cuttlebug folders.

Yeah, I use the old red sizzix, too. I love it, and won't let it go 'til it dies (hopefully will be a long, long time). It does everything the CB will do, and I used the $ on dies and folders instead. I actually find it easier to push down the handle once, move the die if it's large, and push down the handle again as opposed to cranking. I hated the sidekick because of the cranking...
