Another Flower Soft Question

Thanks to you ladies who answered my question about the Flower Soft glue. I have another question for those of you who have used Flower Soft - do you like it? Is it really messy to use? I like the look of it, but I dont want to buy this product and then find that it just sits there because I dont feel like using it - kwim? What do you ladies think?

Not really messy to use. I 'play' with it over a scrap of paper so I can easily re-cant the flowers. So far I have made a little bouquet and used it to embellish a stamped bicycle.

My #1 direction is be sure to loosen up the product in a seperate container before use, makes it much easier. I have been using the aleens 'flower soft' glue, but have found the regular tacky glue works just as well.

I agree with Loretta! Loosen it up first and use a scrap piece to catch the flower soft when you sprinkle so you can reuse that part. I have always used Aleene's tacky glue and it works great. I have done a test mailing and the flower soft did stay on the card!(This is what I was worried about) I love using it for different textures. I have used it on flowers, clothes and even for a bear.

Flowersoft looks great on the magnolia stamps (there's a few) where Tilda is holding a bunch of flowers, theres also stamps out there with wheelbarrows, windows with flowers growing around, garden scenes etc. I put my flowersoft into a bigger tub and after applying glue i just throw it at the image while holding it over the tub, i like the mixed colours over the plain ones.

i use art glitter glue, but tacky glue would work too. the trick is to let it sit overnight...i press the flower soft into the glue to make sure it is going to stick

also, i put tha contents of the tiny container it came in into a larger plastic container...i was amazed at how much was in that little container. now it is easy to pinch out what i need...no need to re-cant it.
