Amuse Marker Bin

If you've ordered it do you like it? I've got my eye on one but I'm not sure it's OK to store my Copics upright. What do you think? I talked to someone at Amuse today and they said it's OK. Oh...and they said it holds about 100 Copics.

Any advice before I order??

krystie lee 04-10-2009 04:21 PM

I have it and I love it!

It's fine to store them upright.

Unfortunately, I don't have 100. Lemme shoot a quick picture for you...brb....

K, here's a pic.

Half of the bin is divided into 3 sections. I use that side for my Copics and divide it by:

1. Browns/Black/Yellow/Orange
2. Blue/Green
3. Red/Pink

I use the other side for my color coach, my catalog, whatever I need to have handy.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Krystie. I have a shipping credit so I think I'll order it.

Do you have the sketch ones? I can fit 175 in one. I actually own 2 to hold the whole set.

Make that three... ;)

Vintagechick 04-10-2009 08:09 PM

I have Copic envy AND Amuse tin bucket envy!!!

I love that container. It would be cool if they divided the other half into three spaces, too. I'm a little **** about my organization....:)

hehe! That was funny!

I have three of the AMuse buckets and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! I have a brown one, an aqua one, and a pink one. I use two of them for my Copics (so great to carry around the house or to transport them to stamp camp) and the third one holds my most often used stamping tools - clear block, adhesive, scissors, ink, glitter, glue pen, etc. Can't imagine my life without them now.

Novell 04-11-2009 01:30 PM

My advice....order more than one!!! hahaha!

Seriously, you can use one for your markers (and per Copic, it IS okay to store them vertically) and one for anything else.

The real question is what color(s) will you buy???

Vintagechick 04-11-2009 03:53 PM

What colors are there to choose from? They are CUTE!

I am in love with my a muse bucket...I have the green one. I keep my ciaos in one side and my envies and notecards in the larger side.

babydal57 04-11-2009 08:42 PM

I wanted one (okay, I need two actually) for my Copics. But shipping was crazy expensive since they are so big. So I had to pass for now. :(

Mine are all in a pink polka dot bag from Michaels right now. All 275+ of mine fit in it and there is room for the other markers that I will get eventually to finish my collecting.

Inky Paws 04-14-2009 08:32 AM

I just love looking at the markers! They look so pretty and happy in the cute little bucket. I agree, get an extra one. You could store your other type markers or decorative scissor, etc. in it. Nice to be portable too.

Bellegirl 04-14-2009 08:36 AM

Yup, I too love my A Muse marker bin..and YES, I should have purchased 2 of them!!!!!

Crafty-lizette 04-14-2009 08:46 AM

[WOW!!! I don't even have one copic marker and you have 175++++
I would buy them if I could, but don't sell them in UAE!
Enjoy!

Crafty-lizette 04-14-2009 08:48 AM

WOW again! Just thought 175 was a lot and now I see you have even more than that! Not fair!! We can't buy them here!!! Enjoy! Envy you!
:o

sparkplug17 04-14-2009 11:22 AM

It took me about 2 years to get all of them...though new colors are coming out this year, sigh, lol. Good thing, because I'm not sure if my husband would know anything else to buy me, lol.

All of the past holidays and birthdays gifts have been markers. :)

Linda*Loo 06-03-2009 10:35 PM

We just added three new colors... Lime, Yellow and Fushia. Yummy!

Willster007 06-05-2009 09:35 AM

I {heart} the AMUSE marker bin but shipping to Canada in INSANE... over $25.00.
YIKES! I just can't justify that cost... plus whatever taxes and handling through Canada Post.

So jealous!

I saw...and Rachel tried to talk me into buying 2 of the lime ones. :) I will the next time I come in.

identicaltriplets 06-06-2009 06:09 AM

I have the baby pink one and LOVE it!!!! Unfortunately that color is temporarily out of stock. I think I need another one! :) You can see all of the colors in this page here.

mtgchic 06-07-2009 09:09 AM

If any of you live near a Hobby Lobby, they have a tin that looks exactly like the amuse one. It's in patriotic colors (red or blue) in their 4th of July section. I already have marker storage, or else I would have grabbed it up!

Nicole's Mom 06-07-2009 10:49 PM

Omg I just realized I have containers like these I bought to hold forks, knifes, and napkins for the patio. I bought two at a gift boutique because I loved the bright colors and could not choose between the two wonderful colors they had. If I wasn't so tired I would go try it out. I will do tomorrow. I think this might work.

pinky83081 06-12-2009 12:03 PM

I love these Amuse buckets but was very surprised when I added it to my recent order and my shipping went up $10.00  Since I could not justify $31 for the tin (as adorable as they are) I did some research and found out that Target has the same exact tins in their stores. It comes in red, blue, galvanized steel, and a green with pink center. They are only $10. Now I can get more than one!!

Here is a picture: http://www.target.com/METAL-CADDY-FL...20caddy&page=1

michellesscrap 06-12-2009 01:14 PM

Pinky yes I have seen these at Pat Catan's and Target for under 10.00, I am sure many other stores as well would have these for about half that price. I have mine in Making Memories Carousel for now (just started collecting...uh I mean using) but would like to find something that doesn't take up table surface. Any suggestions for something you can hang on the wall?

Wow...Thanks, Pinky for posting this! I went to Target to check it out and *really* wanted a red one. I only found 2 total in the store...both red!! I took them both! One for my copics and the other for napkins/utensils on the patio! :)

Willster007 06-12-2009 05:45 PM

Good for you guys finding them in Target... unfortunately no Target here in Canada... sigh!

pricecheck 06-12-2009 05:55 PM

Looks like I'll be going to Target tomorrow. Thanks.

GrammaPixel 06-13-2009 12:23 PM

I went to Target today and couldnt find anything close to these bins....... the online store checker says they are in stock.......... WHAT DEPARTMENT PLEASE......... I will go back tomorrow....... I want red and Amuse has no red, thank you in advance :-)

pinky83081 06-13-2009 04:43 PM

I am so glad everyone is finding and liking these!! It took me a little while for me to find them in my store as well, but i was very determined!! I found it up front with all the seasonal coolers and other plastic plates and etc. Good Luck!

sczarnecki 06-13-2009 04:53 PM

I have the a muse red and white one, I am OCD about stuff and the amuse one is a little, how do you say it "heavy duty" and a little bigger, but the Target ones are a close match, the thing I love most about the a muse one is the distressed look. Yeah! OCD! Hope you all enjoy your buckets as much as I do! :D

GrammaPixel 06-13-2009 07:19 PM

I just spent the last 3 hours looking at every "flatware caddy" that I could find on Google, closest match is Targets flatware caddy in red, white and blue....... so i return to Target tomorrow and hope i can find them without during "a three hour tour" of the store.

I had 3 in my shopping cart at AMuse but the shipping made me cringe, but this may be the way I have to go when they get RED back in stock

maddiesmom 06-13-2009 09:59 PM

I got this one at Bed, Bath and Beyond. The insert is removable. And I used a $5 off coupon so it was $9.99 and no shipping.

http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/prod...1&SKU=16163686

It also comes in red.
