I read somewhere here about a method of stamping on twill tape that comes out clearer and it involved wetting the tape first. It may be as simple as that, but it seemed like it had a little more details. Can anyone help me?
I'm not sure if this makes it "clearer" or not, but SU described coloring on the stamp with watercolor wonder crayons, wetting your twill tape, then stamping. Maybe because the crayons are very thick it comes out better?
I have successfully run my twill through my computer -- I know it's not the same as stamping, but it's a handy thing to be able to do. First I print the sentiment on plain paper, then I adhere the twill tape to the sentiment with Dotto and run it through the printer again. Works like a charm!
I have stamped on twill with craft inks with great results. The sample of WWC on damp twill was beautiful but, even after four years, I have resisted those crayons.
