Default SU Ribbon Scissors

These were discontinued by SU, does anyone know of a source as a replacement?
I have asked SU but they said they were purchased direct from China and could not give the source.

I found them to be an equivalent to a good pair of sewing shears. The size, shape and sharpness were almost exactly the same as a pair of Gingher scissors that I had.

Gingher scissors are awesome. I have had mine for years without sharpening. Definitely better than Fiskars in my opinion.

I have all sizes of Fiskars + Henckels small very pointy scissors + EK Success Honey Bee little pointy scissors + others. I like them all for different purposes. Be sure not to use your ribbon/fabric scissors on paper, as that will really dull them.

Both of my ribbon scissors are decorated with ribbon and my dh and son both know NOT to use them.

You can use any scissors for ribbon, EXCEPT scissors you've used to cut paper. Once scissors have cut paper, they cannot cut fabric or ribbon. My really cute $2 scissors work fine for ribbon.
