Default How to punch holes through mat board or chip board

Any one know how to punch holes through chip board or mat board? Would the crop o dile work? I don't have one but wondering if that is what i need for that?!?! Can anyone help? I have 2 hours before I go shopping to get what I need.

get the crop a dile! It will easily punch those holes and you will love it!

Yes the Cropadile will work. It punches 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch holes, which are the standard sizes for eyelets and snaps. It also sets eyelets and snaps. SCSers have used the CAD for a variety of things from setting eyelets, to punching holes in their trashcans, to embossing, etc... I'm sure you can do a search in the gallery for 'cropadile" and come up with quite a few things!

I got my crop-a-dile about a year ago at Michaels with a 50% off coupon so I think it was about $13.

It would be worth FULL PRICE in the SU catalog if I still didn't have one! I LOVE it...it saves the headache of getting out an eyelet setter and mat...and it is quick and easy to use for punching ANYTHING, I even did a piece of Lexan just to see if it would do it!

I finally broke down and bought a crop-a-dile. I absolutely love it! You will not regret purchasing one.
