Question Silhouette Cameo Design question

Help, I purchased an image from Silhouette America on line. It is a birthday card I want to cut only the card front. Is there a way to eliminate, erase, or cut out the portion I do not want. I have look at all the sources I know for the answer. Someone??? Using a Silhouette Cameo, of course.

If you are using Silhouette Studio, you select the design, then right click and select "release compound path". Then you can select and delete the parts of the design you don't want. Hopefully that helps somewhat...

Could you paste in a link to the design in the Silhouette store? Maybe we can help you with specifics then.

When you clicked on the design did the box with the size dimensions come up? I know sometimes in the Silhouette software the designs are really hard to click on and edit. After the design is highlighted you can right click and choose Release Compound Path. I know I have went to the menu for this command and the dimension box disappeared. Now, I always right click. Saves my sanity.
