Default Ack! Cricut woes

Sometimes when I cut my cricut seems to bunch up the paper in corners. It doesn't always do this. I cut once perfect - no problems. The second cut, bunched up corners. The image was the same size both times, both time with SU CS. I dont' get it. Any tips for a fix?

You have the pressure or the speed set too high. Try to cut it on a lower pressure level and see if it helps (but still cuts all the way through the paper). Your paper also might not be stuck to the mat enough. Maybe try to rub over the paper once you stick it to the mat. HTH!!

Be sure to check the blade too. Sometimes pieces of the cardstock that you cut get stuck on the blade and then you don't get a clean cut.

I know some people have better luck than others with SU cardstock. My experience, with my machine, is that my blade must be fresh, and my cutting mat must be new-ish to get a good cut with SU cardstock. Even then, I can still have difficulty.

I also find that cutting SU cardstock, i go through cutting blads much more rapidly than with the dsp or other brands of paper.
