Default foam from target brads

Did anyone buy the autumn brads in target's dollar spot? They had some with leaves and some were more christmas-y with red, green, pink, brown etc stripes and polkas. Then in between the larger brads were more standard size brads with colored "pearls" coordinating with the large ones. Well these were mounted on a piece of sturdy foam.
I was wondering if anyone has come up with a use for the foam? I have about used up the brads and hate to throw away this foam, because I know as soon as I do, some great talent on here will have the best idea!
TIA

Funny that you ask that, as I had the same question. It seems like it has too much potential to be used for *something* to throw it out!

Ahh, then JTAX you are the one who will discover the true meaning of this foam.

I never know what to do with something unless I throw it away!

OK, guess what??? I was just dumping the trash from my craft room into the kitchen trashcan, and the foam that I threw out earlier this week ended up on top! So, in anticipation of *someone* figuring out what to do with it, I grabbed those foam pieces... So, I guess that means since I now have some, I won't figure out wjy I saved it. So, someone HELP!!!

I too cannot manage to throw this piece of fun-waiting-to-happen away! Someone tell me what to do with it!

I use it to out all the pins from various clubs in my DD's high school scrapbook.
I pushed the pin through the page and put a small square of this on the back in stead of the clasp back that cam with the pin.

I use it to paper pierce or to make a hole smaller than the 1/8 hole for brads, etc using a push pin.

I was just switching out the blades in my hobby knife and had the foam sitting here - I cut off a piece to stick the old blade in so that I can throw it away safely.

oh that's good, I'm always afraid of stabbing the person taking out the trash. Light bulbs in the trash scare me too.

I use it to stamp on, pierce paper on it, put pins in it so I have some to open glue or Stickle bottles.

I used it when piercing my Thanksgiving cards before inserting brads. Now, I'm going to keep it in my small craft tote to use when piercing paper on the go .
