Default Fine Tip Glue Pen glue excess

Does anyone know how to remove excess Fine Tip Glue pen glue from a card? I've had no luck so far. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

Sometimes I've been able to remove dried glue with a white silicone eraser.

I use an adhesive eraser, it's yellow and knobbly, not sure if it works on every type of glue.

I haven't had any luck with removing this type of glue. I make it an opportunity for an(other) embellishment.

I've seen some people use a kraft knife to scrape away ink so I suppose it would work with glue. Personally, I'm in favor of strategic embellishment or die cut placement. Lol
