Talking Embelishment and EP containers

Thought I would share how I keep my Embossing Poweders and Embelishments. I really wanted to buy like a spice rack with empty spice bottles to put my embelishments in but I found that to be costly so instead I asked around my work for empty baby jars since lots of people recently have had babies. They work great. I used printer mailing labels that I got at the dollar store.

Trust me I am always hesitant with glass... but it seems these jars are indestructable. My dog loves to play soccer with them (since they rattle with embelishments) and he punces on them and they are quite durable.

I used to use baby food jars! I loved the different sizes...#1 and #2...I sray painted all the lids with a hammered metal finish. Then my hubby made me some mini shelves attatched to the inside of a cabinet door and screwed all the lids to the bottoms of the shelves. Then I had a bunch of rows of cute little jars...easy to see everything and just a quick twist to pull them off.

This only lasted until I out-grew the 50 jars and my embellishments needed a new plan. I still think they were the cutest system!! If I ever get my own room again, I want 500 jars...haha!
