Question Adhesive removal on Cuttlebug Folder

I'm sure I must have read about this technique on TJ or somewhere but I used some Aluminum Foil Tape from the hardware store (can't remember the exact name but it looks something like this:Amazon.com: JVCC AF20 Aluminum Foil Tape: 2 in. x 50 yds. (Silver): Home… ) in a Cuttlebug folder. It made an awesome impression but I ended up with adhesive on my folder that I have tried everything on to get off. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Did you try Goo Gone? Love that stuff.

I have done that but it had a protective cover on the tape. You can dust the tape with baby powder (talc kind) but then you have lost the stickiness. I keep the scraps from my Xyron machine and other big sticker sheets to use in the Cuttlebug folders when I want to keep the sticky. I think freezer paper will do the same (shiny waxed side).

Goo gone will definitely remove the goop from your folder.

Have any nail polish remover (with acetone) on hand? That should do the trick, too.

I have used Skin So Soft from Avon to remove things from glue to sharpie permanent marker. Sorta funny if you think of it, something to make you skin soft is strong enough to strip off marker from plastic.
