$3 DCWV Mat Stacks at Big Lots!!!
 

WOWZERS! I just ran into Big Lots to get some Easter Goodies for the kiddos at preschool and saw they had a stack of those Die Cuts w a View 4 x 6 Mat stacks for just $3.00!! They had just put them out and I grabbed some of them - including Old World, Once Upon a Time, Pocket full of Posies and Christmas. Even with my 50% off coupon for Mikes and Joanns', they are still not this cheap -- this is a wonderful price and they sure come in handy! :-D

They also had packs of Ellison strips (87 per pack, sealed, assorted colors) for just $1.00.

Wow! That is great. I will have to go check out the one near me. They usually don't have much of anything in the scrapbooking department. Maybe this is my lucky day. Thanks for the heads up!

TFS. I just went to 2 BL's in my area and haven't seen this. Hopefully, it means they're on their way and not that we'll never get them.

Ooh I hope you guys find them - maybe you can call first and ask if they have them in stock? Mine were not in the scrapbooking section -- they were off to a side area where all the photo albums were, notepads, sticky note pads, that sort of area, if that helps? They literally just came in and I was at the right place at the right time (which never happens!)

I always check the office supply section when I go to BL as I've seen that they stock scrapping merchandise there in the past. I'll just keep checking. I've noticed it takes a week or two for them to catch up with their inventory.

I have noticed some big lots here by me have scrapbook sections and some don't I guess a call wouldn't hurt :-) Instead of wasting the gas

Mine never carries stuff like this. It's always a disappointment when I go in there.

I got the 8x8 RockStar DCWV and the Pocket Full of Posies paper pads and they were only $3 each. I also got the ribbon packs to match and they were $2 each.

Oooooooh! thankyou SO much for posting this. I just ran right down there as it's about 2 minutes from my house. WOO-HOO!! I've always wanted to get the "Once Upon A Time" stack and "The Pocket full of Posies" matstack but, didn't want to spend $10.00 a piece for them! Now I have 4 of them all for $3.00 a piece! I just LOVE a good deal! :mrgreen: I also got some other new CS and DP they had regularly $29.99 a piece for $2.00! a piece. In addition, they had the Christmas cardstock matstack there b/c actually their colors are good for any time of the year. Thanks again!

I was sooo excited when I got some last nite at BL!! AND ours also had Magpie white or black little wooden storage cabinets...I think they were $29.99 with 20%off $27..but got mine at Overstock for under $25 including shipping. Really suprised to see those. Oh-also had the small magpie tins-they were 20% off $9.99 (they come three tins in a pack) !!!:mrgreen:

Mine had the tiny Ellison mat stacks for $1, I got one of those...I will keep checking...I live near several Big Lots...

One thing to keep in mind is how big your local store is, I know the one closest to my house almost never has as much as the rest of the stores, and I was told that they were so small that they were the last to get anything new in...go figure...

I got all the stacks last night, I had to dig around in the scrap book section to find them. How nice for $3.00. My hours at work just got dropped to 4 days per week. There goes all the fun money.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I went yesterday and got the Pocket full of Posies and Once Upon a Time mat stacks and the 8 x 8 Metallic Pack. I saw a Rock Star album and I think they had a Pockets of Posies album too.

just got back from Big Lots and got Pocket Full of Posies 8x8 paper for $3. They had a bunch of Far East ones but didn't get them...yet! LOL

sooo wish they would have had Once Upon a Time! i will keep checkin though....didn't realize how much these things retail for until i went on original poster's link!!

I raided my BL. Thanks for the heads up. I found pocket full of posies in two sizes, once upon a time, rockstar, christmas, small ellisons for $1 and self adhesive ribbons for the pocket full of posies for $2. I'm going to hit the other BL to look for far east and the old world. What a bargain.

Thanks for the heads-up! I managed to get to Grand Opening Day at the one near my parents last week, and I got two of the 8x8" stacks. I'm going to check my Big Lots this week to see if they have the other two I'd like. If not, oh well. I'm a little over budget right now anyway! :)

Boo Hoo - no mat stacks at my Big Lots in Oklahoma City. All they had was some packs of self-adhesive ribbons by DCWV. I passed on them since I have oodles of ribbon. And to tell the truth, it's not as though I need paper, either, but I can't pass up a bargain on it.

I have found out that it is a hit or a miss thing in my BL. Some times I have found really good stuff. and sometimes nothing. Just have to make it a point to go there weekly or something and see what they have.

I called the two that are in my area and they said that they didn't have them. :-( They also said that they never know what they are getting in. I will have to call every week or stop in. One is about 45 minutes from me,the other is about 15-20 minutes away. I am hoping the one closer to me gets them. I live in NY. Anyone from NY found them at their BLs?

I went yesterday and they finally had some. I got Pocket full of Posies mat stack and a Rock Star mat stack. I am hoping to go back this week and see if I can find some more. :-)

I was hoping to get one of the Rock Star packs but mine did not have any. They did have a Rock Star 8x8 album though.

I stopped by two of the area big lots and so far no paper... :( I guess I really dont need it anyway...lol

I had to check out my Big Lots when I saw your posting. I put a pad in my cart, picked it up and thought......I HAVE WAY too much paper and if it isn't SU, it isn't good enough - lol! I walked away without any paper....quick, I must be running a temperature - call EMS!
