Hi:
Can you explain some more details to me? I am trying to figure out your card first, then I will try my own. Did you cut the recessed part out from the main folded card, then place another 1/4 sheet (lighter colour) on top? Then the ribbon?
If so, does your cut show on the inside (left side) of your card when opened?

I cut the top layer out first (used Coluzzle) with an opening larger than the recessed window will be, then stamped and adhered to card base. Measured out the recessed window, scored and cut the X. The recess sticks out on the inside (left) of the card front--I glue on another piece to cover the backside X cutout and I also put a strip of 1/8 trim around the recessed edge to cover the corners that have a slight open area. Give it a try on scrap paper and you will see--it is very easy.

I am slow on the uptake.. I just don't get it...
What do I do with the 'triangles' after cutting the 'X'? Will they be folded behind the card front? I love these card, but it is just not working for me, grrr...
Is someone able to explain it to a stupid one like me?
Thanks so much in advance...
