Lightbulb New and Improved Nugget Box Template

I LOVE the idea of the nugget box, but didn't like the inside not looking finished. I came up with a modified template that allows you to make a nugget box that looks finished inside and out.

Please be gentle, I am not a tutorial master. LOL

You can download the pattern or view the tutorial on my blog by clicking the link in my signature line.

Question I have a question

I just made the box bottom after a couple of failed attempts (I am directionally impaired LOL), and really like the way it goes together.....but, wondering if I did it right. This box holds 5 nuggets? And I had a little room left over. They didn't fit in snug like the 3 nugget box. Am I doing something wrong, or is it supposed to be this way? Thanks.

I'm not sure what you did, but it should hold 4 nuggets. They fit perfectly. I'm thinking you went wrong somewhere. Have you followed the tutorial step by step? If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Smile Thanks Jody

I will try it again today. The lighting in my home is poor at night.....don't know why I even try to do things at night, but just couldn't wait on this one. I will ask again if I'm still having trouble. Love the tutorial.

Your blog had GREAT pictures and directions! I was also "bothered" by the unfinished look of the bottom of the box. Thanks for creating these directions, can't wait to try them!

Jody, I think your tutorial is very nice. This makes the base more sturdy too. Great idea and thanks for working it out.

This is a great looking box. No white.

Just to clarify: the paper for the box is cut to 6.5" X 7.25". Is that right? The box dimensions seems to be 1.5" by 4.25"???

Thanks

PS What is a nugget? :-)
