Hi. I printed your bookmarks and the middle one for the months of April, May and June have an extra line of days for the last week and it throws off the
whole second and third bookmark.
Ok - I try to be perfect, but fail miserably! The Word file has been corrected to remove the extra line (don't know HOW that happened, since I used cut-n-paste, but my home PC is known to do weird things). The calendar is for 2007 - I just double checked the start of each month, and it is correct for 2007 - NOT 2006. I've also added a PDF download in case that file is better for you.
Enjoy!
I just LOVE this site... so whenever I can give back to the wonderful stampers that have shared with me, I try to do it... guess I just need to make sure I "proof" my stuff better (wish I could say I was too busy stampin')
I love this site, too. Your template looks like it was very "fussy" to make, so kudos to you for sharing with us!! Thanks again, Cat! I hope you have a chance to share more!!! If I ever get creative like that, I plan to share, too. Have a great day!
can someone post what these calendars bookmarks look like! I have not seen them as of yet, and I have a feeling once I see them I will want to make some!

Jenny - you can search the gallery for "bookmark calendars", but here are some of my favorites.
Thanks sooooo much for all your work! I think I'll try to get a few of these done tomorrow to give to teachers!
But I did have one problem with the pdf file (I don't have Word - only Word Perfect). In the months of September, the very first number under the name of the month is 30. And in December, there is a 30 and 31. Sorry to bother you, but do you think you could make this correction to the pdf file? Otherwise I'll try to open the Word file at work to see if the numbers are okay on those.
Thank you again! This is a fantastic project to give as gifts!

It's not an error in the file. It's because those months have more weeks, so the last day or two of the month carry over. Since you can't split a box in half (it's too small), you put them at the top... standard calendar method...
Thanks Cat - it makes perfect sense now! I should have looked at the last days of those months, and I would have seen that these dates had to be added. I'm going to have fun with these bookmarks!
This is great, thanks for sharing. Now to a question that I know seems silly, how can I use this for a workshop for a make and take that I have this weekend? Thanks for any help.

Oh, how cool would that be?
You could print these calendars on UltraSmooth White, or another light neutral; cut into individual bookmarks; stamp the back side; punch with a slot punch; insert coordinating ribbons.
Check post #16 for links to bookmarks already stamped.
Thanks! I didn't even see the link to samples. I'm going to reduce the size just a bit and print out on white cardstock. I'll post sample once my class is over.
Hi CAT... just wanted to thank you for your wonderful calendars. Here's what I did with mine... modified size to fit 5x7, then insert into a plastic frame... or magnet for fridge... I have both.
Great idea. How can I shrink this down to fit a standard bookmark (maybe shrink it down to 2/3 of its original size? I've been playing in Word but not having much luck.
I would also like to shrink it some, but don't know how....???? HELP !!!
I want to do this as a Make and Take at my open house this week, but i think it would be easier to work with smaller, plus it would fit smaller books!!!

I used your base and made a school calendar so that my sister could use the cups as a teacher gift. Thanks for your template. Made it pretty easy to change. Let me know what you think. A

I printed it and then used the copier to shrink it. Worked out great at 67% (how computers choose such odd numbers....); hope this helps.

Allison - I made a small change in the edited file. It's weird the way MSWord handles columns, so your months didn't look like they were lining up.
I was so glad to see this thread again. I am just starting to "work outside the box" and try other projects than just cards. Starting easy, bookmarks, journals etc. I do have a question - I printed out "in word" the 2007 calendar and my September prints the 30th on the top row with 1 - how can I fix this? Also, can anyone give ideas for decorating the bookmarks?

September has more weeks, so to keep everything lined up, the last day of the month prints at the beginning. It's standard formatting for calendars.
And, post #16 in this thread includes links to some ideas. HTH.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I have so many family and friends who are readers and it's going to be so much fun making bookmarks for gifts for them!
