I have this faux postage template saved to my computer but since the postage is going up to 41 cents in May, can anyone make changes to it or make a new template with 41 cents so I can start a few cards early? Thanks!! Sherri (I have no idea how to do this!)
The "First Class" postage stamp template would be really great.....can anyone put it in Word???? I am not able to open it in pdf. TIA
You might wish to download the latest version of Adobe Reader HERE. It doesn't allow you to create a .pdf file, but it will allow you to view the many wonderful templates offered here on Split Coast Stampers... and it is free
Hoping this will work for you. Do have a FUNtastic day!

You can apply the postage to your projects several ways.
1. Use it like any other card element, using the adhesive of your choice
2. Apply the 'greeting glue' and (ugh) lick-n-stick like you would any old-style postage stamp
3. Run through a Xyron or other sticky-back adhesive applicator
You can find lots of examples here at SCS - click to GALLERY and use FAUX POSTAGE as your keywork search.
Happy crafting!

If you can't open a pdf directly, right click on the file, click "save target as" and save on your hard drive. Then you can open it. Of course that assumes you have Adobe Reader...if you don't see the link in post 15 above to download it.
VSN was the first time I have done faux postage and I really like it. The Mini Mates set works well with the small postage and I can see more uses as well.
THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU

Thanks so much for sharing these templates. I've wondered, though, how do you actually set up the grid for the template. I'd like to do one for a landscape (vs. portrait) orientation. Would anyone be willing to share how this is done? I have both Word and WordPerfect, so directions for either is fine. Great big thanks!!
The minute I saw this, I got in the Valentine's Day mode! Hope you don't mind. I was surprised at my tech skill....now if I can figure out how to "share!"
This is what I have been looking for. I had to use the old template and manually change it for 10 ATC cards. Let me tell you that the technique itself is not easy when you don't measure your stamps correctly but then changing the postage amount manually didn't help as I have bad printing.
Thank you for making life a little easier. Have a great day ladies!
Did everyone hear the US post office and upping the price of a stamp once again? Effective May 1st I think, it will cost 2 more cents, UUGH. Well buy as many of the forever samps you can get. They keep raising the price of postage every year.
Thanks you so very much for sharing these files. They have made life a whole lot easier. And they turn out so beautifully.;)

Postage is going up one penny May 12th to 42 cents. Right now we have a fun 41 cent postage stamp called Celebrate that is fun to use on your envies. Also, if you have a special occasion, make a card, go to your local post office, buy a stamp and have them postmark it with the date. Presto, you have a great collectible for your special day!
