Thank you so much for this wonderful template! I received 2 of these at conventions as swaps and just fell in love with this idea! I am going to use these for a demo I am doing this Saturday with local winery that is doing a "Ladies Day at the Spa" kind of thing. I have to prepare for approx 100 ladies and only have 45 minutes to do my thing!!! This will be perfect for that. Thanks again!

You ladies are wonderful! I love the comments (we don't get enough cudos some days :p )
If you're interested, I'm hosting a swap for these bookmarks. I think it would be a wonderful way to get some new and different ideas on how to make these. Please consider joining!
FYI - I used the template, but printed at 75% which makes the bookmarks about 2" x 8"
and also at 66% which makes 1 7/8 x 7 inches but still a very readable calendar.
Yay! I found it! I just saw a beautiful calendar bookmark that *manybooks* uploaded and immediately came here looking for this thread. Thank you so much, Cat, for sharing this great template with us! I love to make these for my children's teachers, school staff, and anyone I know who loves to read.

Michelle - you should join our swap! I didn't see Manybooks' upload, but she's got two spots in our swap. Here's your chance to own one
I know that someone else has created a smaller bookmark calendar, and posted it to the boards (see my link in post #59), but I took my version and shrunk it since the calendars are different. So, the attached fits five bookmarks to a page, and you won't waste paper (by just shrinking the old file).
Here's an MSWord file (.doc), so you can change your fonts, or an Adobe (.pdf) file if you don't have Word. Enjoy!

This calendar is WONDERFUL!!!! I was about to print them off when I noticed a couple months were a bit off.... September and December have extra days (Sept. 30 in the first row and Dec. 30 & 31 in the first row.) I fixed December by putting Dec. 1st in the Nov. calendar and moving up all of the rows in Dec. This way the month of Dec. isn't cut off at 29th.
Proofing... an occupational hazard!! I work with some teachers that are 'sticklers' for perfection so if I am going to make these bookmark calendars for the school staff the calendars better be correct or I will catch 'heck'!!!!
Thanks again for doing all of the work!!!!!!!

Great idea. How can I shrink this down to fit a standard bookmark (maybe shrink it down to 2/3 of its original size? I've been playing in Word but not having much luck.
I shrunk mine down by choosing the "shrink to fit" option (in the print window) for an 8 x 10 page. The finished bookmark size is 2 x 9 --- I didn't want to make it too much smaller for my ladies who have a hard time seeing the little numbers.

Colleen - actually, it wasn't a typo. Mnay calendars carry over the extra day or two at the beginning of the month rather than making a half box. So the last day of September is actually the 30th at the top of the calendar. See post #36 in this thread.
One of the reasons I posted the original file and not just the PDF is so people can change them based on their own preferences.
Here is the bookmark that I changed. I also put my SU! info on them. It is a Word file because I don't know how to save it as a pdf. Sorry if someone cannot open it.

Thanks for you wonderful template. I will be using it for end of the year gifts for teacher's aides at my girls preschool with 2007 on one side and 2008 on the other side.
Thank you again for sharing the word document, so we could edit it as we needed to.
I'll attach the ones I made for 2008 both in word and pdf formats. These are the calendar bookmarks that are 3 to a page. In case anyone else needs one in the future.
