Red face Watercolor Crayons

Ok so I know this is going to sound silly, but here goes. All of my stamping friends LOVE Stampin' Up's Water Color Crayons. They talked me into buying them and I haven't used them once. Can you smart ladies out there give me some suggestions on how to use them? Thanks in advance.

I LOVE these. I just use my blender pen and stroke it on the crayon and
then color with my pen onto my stamp. I have also colored direct, but
don't like the lack of control.....GOOD LUCK

I have TAC's water color crayons. I also have TAC's Aqua Flow water brushes (you put water inside the tube that is attached to the brush and water flows to the brush head when squeezed). I lightly squeeze the Aqua Flow water brush on the tip of the watercolor crayon I want to use. I usually paint a piece of scrap paper to see how dark or light the color is before applying to my stamped image. This is my favorite way to color images!

Hello,

I use the black stamping up classic ink pad and colour the image with my crayons and use an aqua pen to blend the colouring (I used a wet Q-tip before I bought the pens)

For a true watercolour look try spritzing a stamp lightly with water, use the crayons to colour directly on the stamp and then stamp the image. (I needed to play with the sprizing nozzle to get this to work to my liking.)

I went to our local Art supply store and purchased a 2 x 3 foot thick watercolour sheet and the texture adds another wonderful touch and the paper can handle getting a little water than normal cs paper.

Thanks to whoever put up the link to the different ideas. I'm going to go take a closer look.
