Victoria's Secret Gift Card Box
Anyone have ANY idea what I can do to replicate this box? I have included a flat picture and a folded picture. I do have an Expression (which will make the cuts easier) if I can get a hold of a template or cut file.
Thanks,
~Kay

Yeah, it's called, I think, a squash fold (in origami terms). Is it eight sided? Somewhere, somewhere I have that. Hummming....back in a little while, okay?

Origami box - octagonal
Got it (attached pdf).
Score all the folds. Fold up the sides and then work your way around, folding the diagonals in.
Take a look at the directions here and you can see how those folds work:

Origami box
I know someone's going to help me out on the origami terminology. Squashed twist fold? Twisted squash fold? Does someone know exactly what this is called?
I have a couple other variations if anyone is interested--different number of folds, flower at the closure at the top (or maybe it's hearts) and so forth.

cpeep, I would love any templates that you have of this variety. I love these boxes and would like to do some creative Christmas gift box crafting with these.

Another cute box
This one forms a flower on the top when it is folded.

Oh, thank you cpeep. That is a beautiful box! Thanks for the pattern. Do I need to "increase" the size to print, or am I copying, and cutting, just the way it is?
It is so kind of you to show us this! Happy crafting,
Linda from PA
