Default Taking the gloss off stickers

Anyone have a simple solution for giving a mat finish to glossy stickers other than Glossy Accents Mat Finish which I have not tried but assume will work. I was thinking more along the lines of a liquid that could be stamped on perhaps? Tried gentle nail polish remover and a cotton ball, but no luck. I enjoy using stickers sometimes, but I don't like the look of the glossy stickers on my mat papers.

I'd use matte gel medium. It's what I use for collage and I love the finish, and it is a great adhesive.
