Joleen!!
Thank you so much for the excellent instructions! You made it look so easy to do--I'm sure that once I start doing it, though, I'm sure to find a way to goof up!
Oooooh! I can't wait to try a spinner card! Thanks!

Go back to page one of this post. In the very first post of Joleenieweenie. ( You just have to laugh every time you say that)
Scroll down a little bit. Click on the blue part that says Spin Card Instructions. doc. That will bring it up for you.
What a great set of instructions. I'll have to try this one today!

Thanks for sharing this! I have made the spinner cards that are long and fit into the business size envelopes. I made one with the hedgehogs, one with the Groovy VW and I can't remember which image I used for the third but they are a lot of fun. Your directions are slightly different and I like this size card too. Plus I used nickels so you just saved me 8 cents! LOL!

I'm so going to try this tonight after my hubby goes to work and my son goes to sleep. Kim Orr showed me this weekend how to stamp on candles, make a squash book, and how to do the faux postage. I'm trying this all tonight. I can't wait!
Thanks Joleen! Your instructions are the easiest and I'm a visual person, I have to see it. The pictures make it so much easier to understand!

You use your paper cutter/scorer as shown in the first picture. You don't drag the cutter all the way from the top to the bottom of your card because it would just cut the card in half. You move the cutter to where you want the slot to start, put it down onto the paper and cut for as long as you want the slot to be. Then you move the paper to the side a quarter inch from your last cut and do the same thing. Then you flip the mat to cut the little sides. I hope this makes sense. It was hard to explain.

Joleenieweenie, thank you so much for these AWESOME instructions. You made everything so clear and the step by step directions were perfect! I immediately had to go to my craft room and try this technique. I posted my card in the gallery but I'll post a copy here too. This was so much fun and very easy!

My dimensionals must be larger than yours, as I had to do a 1/2" slot.
But it rolls magnificently!
Thank you!

Thanks for this awesome idea. I was trying to come up with a cool card for a swap and it looks like I've found it. I can't wait to get started. I knew the big jar of pennies we have are good for something besides collecting dust. I think I will use the Bug Builders set.
