Default Scrapbooking with Poloroid Pictures

Hi All-

Any recommendations or ideas/examples for scrapbooking with old Poloroid pictures?

When I added some Polaroid photos to my son's baby book, I cut a circle out of a mat and laid the mat over the photo. In this case, I had a large page with two Polaroids showing through two different ovals and a couple of other photos on top of the colored "mat". I hope this makes sense.

My friend has years of polaroids. She ended up scanning them all into her computer, printing them out. Then you can crop, enlarge, whatever.

When I did Polaroids of my kids, I did as ladbs and cut out the mat and put it over the picture. You can't trim the pictures.

Reprinting them is the easiest way to avoid all the potential problems. That little package of chemicals at the bottom always freaks me out when I think about putting it into a scrapbook.

I'm a CM consultant. You don't want to crop a polaroid. It will expose the chemicals inside and your photos will begin to fade :( . Not to mention the chemicals will migrate onto your scrapbook pages. Like others suggested, either have them reprinted or you can cut frames to go over them. You can also add stickers to the white part as well as cut colored strips of photo mounting paper to cover the white part as well. Hope this helps!
