So here's a "Debate"! Recently a group of ladies and I were discussing mountian and valley folds when it comes to making card bases. No one could agree on which is the correct way. So here you go ladies, it's your time to settle the debate.
When you score your card stock, do you have the mountian of the score inside or outside? I said that the mountian is to be on the inside and that the valley (which has allowed the fibers to be broken) goes on the outside.
Thanks in advance for imput. I hope this can be settled.
I know there are "reasons" for the valley to be on the outside but my way of remembering is that all boxes of store-bought cards that aren't prefolded always have the valley on the outside.
Valley is supposed to go on the outside of the card.... and it looks a lot better that way, too.
