Default watercolouring help

hi,
i was hoping someone might be able to help me. which is the best way to get a nice blended watercolour effect?

i only have a few SU markers but i have been using SU's watercolour pencils. is it better to use a blender pen or the aqua painters?

or does anyone have a link to a tutorial?

i am finding that when i try to use the pencils and the bender pen it looks terrible, can someone please help me?

Krisash, are you using watercolor paper? That works much better for watercolor pencils than regular cardstock.
