Default Picking up color from stamp pad

Can anyone help? I am having a SU swap crisis. I have an all day stamp extravaganza tomorrow morning and as usual I wait till the last minute to put my idea and supplies together.

I have my idea and know my colors. The problem is that I don't have the markers I need but I do have the stamp pads.

How do I get color from my stamp pads to the area I am coloring?

I am coloring a flower from one of the retired sets.

Help.

Just some brainstorming here because I don't know what kind of flower you stamped or how big or little of an area you're trying to color:
use a stencil brush
use a bit of makeup sponge
use a dry waterbrush
use a blender pen

Instead of ink:
use pastels/chalks in those colors or similar colors
stamp on that color cardstock and fussycut

Hope that helps spark some more ideas!

You can also smoosh your pad on a craft mat or acrylic block and pick the color up with a water brush and use it as is or add water for a lighter color.
