I saw a technique to use the cottonelle toilet paper as a background it looks like faux corduroy but I have no idea where I saw it. I think it was on someone's blog. Does anyone have a link for it?
This so intrigues me! I have an artist friends who does layers of t/p and stamps to emboss...I would like to see it if you find it! T/P is a fascinating medium I have come to learn! And cheap to boot!
It uses Cottonelle Ultra tp and I think a brayer, maybe I'll go that way and check out ways to use a brayer. It was really cool and of course I had used all my "ultra" tp, it's really heavy and has ridges. One of the ladies in the Technique class I go to has it I'll see if she will share. Wal-Mart just had the tp on sale for $3.97 in Canada.
There's a project on this blog: Krafty Kandi Krafts. She says she saw Gina's article in Scrap and Stamp Arts. It sounds like you literally just apply ink with a brayer and it's just the texture of the TP that's creating the corduroy effect.
