Default Please explain Emboss Resist! qcbetty made this awesome card

I just saw the most awesome card in the gallery - it's one of most recent ones and it uses Petal Prints, and it says it uses emboss resist. I'm assuming that the white flower is embossed somehow and then the light blue is sponged over it. Is this stamped with Versamark, then embossed with white EP? Then you sponge over it and the embossed part doesn't come off when you rub over it??

Thanks for helping out an embossing newbie!

Default Please Explain Emboss Resist

Susan,
I believe the first thing you do is use versamark on white paper to stamp the flower. Then sprinkle clear EP powder over versamarked flower. Useh heat tool to emboss. Heat enough to make it shine. Let cool. Then sponge on the blue ink. The embossing will not come off, and the ink will not stick to it once embossed and cooled.
I hope this helps.
