Sorry, my sister took the invitation with her. It was a wedding she was going to and I was just helping her make the candle. It was her first time doing a candle. I'll see if I can get it from her.

Your candles look so beautiful! I keep trying the candle technique and still have a problem getting the picture on the candle without any wrinkles.
Can you give me a tip?

I don't really have a tip for you, ssperanzi. You just have to be very sure that your waxed paper is smooth all the way around the candle before you heat it. If you have a "bunch" or a wrinkle in the waxed paper you will set it right into the candle when you heat it.

Wow, this is an old thread! Great technique, though. I've decorated several candles since I learned this 3 years ago. It always gets the oooohs and aaaaaahs.

I was to chicken to try this technique three years ago. *grin* Now I have a bit more confidence.
Plus thought I would bump this for the newbies.

Hi
I was wondering if there is any other thing I could substitute the waxpaper with? I haven't been able to find it, don't know if it exists here in Norway...
