PE in spray bottle

Can someone help. I tried putting PE in a small spray plastic spray container, with hair spray and the nozzle clogged. Oviously I am doing something wrong. WHAT!!!!!!

I put a tsp. of rubbing alchol in mine. It hasn't plugged up yet. I also, heard some people put BB's in theirs.

I use Pearl Ex with PPA (I think it's perfect paper adhesive), it's a liquid glue you should be able to find at Michaels or another craft/scrapbook store. I think it's like 1/2 spritz bottle of water with another 1/4 of the spritz bottle of PPA and then Pearl Ex to your taste. I haven't had any problems with my spritz bottles clogging. Sorry I'm not real sure on the mixture measurements, it's been a while since I made some up.

I do PE w/water and spray on then go back w/hairspray and spray my work... I don't know if that's correct but it works.

If yours is clogging I think you may have put a little to much pearl ex. I bought my little bottle from walmart for $0.50. I only mixed about 1/8 tsp with hairspray in mine. I put 2 beebee's in mine and it works just fine. HTH

Mine doesn't clog, but when I do it, it makes the paper curl up and that annoys me. Not worth it to have sparkly paper if it is curled up!

Also, it doesn't stick very well with mono once the pe dries.

I'm not a fan of this technique. Too bad I have 2 bottles full of sparkles!!

My paper curls up too and my friends doesn't. I bought some hairspray that smelled good and was just a little more expensive and she bought some cheap dollar store stuff. I think that makes a difference. Make sure it is cheap hairspray.
