Default party favors

Help, I'm looking for ideas for small Valentine favors for my kids class parties. Something quick and easy (I have 3 boys in school each with 17-26 kids per class!) Any help would be very appreciated

Default Easy Party Favors

A few of the easiest and quickest I can think of...

1) Sucker Covers - 3x6 piece of cardstock folded in half (3x3 finished) decorated and wrapped over a sucker.

2) Bag toppers - buy small clear ziplock bags at Walmart in the crafts section (ours is in with the wedding type stuff). Bags are about 2x3. Fill with a few candies and make toppers.

3) Sour Cream Containers - You can make 4 of these from a standard size sheet of cardstock. Cut it into quarters. Then you roll each (as if into a toilet paper roll). Secure the one end flattened. Then fill and flatten the other end at a 90 degree angle to the first. I haven't ever had much luck with regular adhesives so I use staples on these. But maybe with redline tape or something stronger than mono?

4) One I'm thinking of for my son's class (but could get costly in your case) is buying the cups at Walgreens that are 8/$1 on sale and getting some clear bags and filling the bags and doing a tag.

Hope that gives you a starting point at least.

Jane

I did bag-a-lopes for my kids for valentines day, just scored the envelopes, stamped them, had the kids color them, then put them together, put a few pieces of candy inside, folded down the top and stapled shut. Sounds like a lot of work but it wasn't really. I did 100 of them (have 4 kids). For the teachers and bus drivers I did nugget boxes with 4 nuggets inside of them. These were very fast and easy to do!

Family Fun magazine had a really cute idea a year or 2 ago; you make sucker covers out of fun foam; red foam cut into the shape of lips, with a little hole to put the sucker stick through, or brown foam cut like a mustache, so when the kids put the sucker in their mouth, it looks like they have a mustache or big red lips. I couldn't find the directions when I did a quick search of their website, but they have TONS of other ideas:

I'm with the others:
lollipop covers, bag toppers, the quick and easy pencil holders and stick a pack of pixie sticks in them.
