Question New to Stampin Up

Hello!

I am fairly new to stamping up - and I've gone all out and spent money to make cards, but I'm a little stuck with techniques, I'm very interested to learn some new ones. So far, I am aware of the baby wipe method with re-inkers, the versa mark with pastels, and I think that is about it.

Could someone draw my attention to the techniques I can use with everyday around the house sort of stuff (not embossing, glitter, heat tools, that sort of thing.. I don't have those). Can also include the items I do have.

I have:

SU! spots in Classic (3) and my 4th one is in Craft, the pastel ones.
Crop a Dile with eyelets
2 in color reinkers
Blender Pens - which I haven't really learned how to use yet, but I know you can color stuff in with them.

Thats about it. Where should I go from here? Lead the way!

Thanks in advance!

I know about the techniques page, but so many require items I don't have!! Please help me to find some that don't require a bunch of equipment.

Thanks

I would try this technique first Faux Silk Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
It's really simple & you don't even need to color the images in.
It's called faux silk.

I like that, does require getting some tissue paper, but I'm up for that. That is gorgeous. Now I wish I had picked up some at the dollar store. Problem with me is that I live about 20 minutes outside of the nearest town, which is still fairly small. We were so excited when we got a Walmart! Hehe. We're lucky we got that!

Anyway, your card is beautiful, and thanks for the suggestion. Can't wait to hear/read/see more!

You say you have a couple of reinkers? Try the shaving cream technique.

Enjoy!
