Default Micro beads - ideas other than shaker cards and beaded pens?

Just wondered what else people are doing with these?

The first thing I ever learned to do w/ these beads was to sorta do what you do on the pens, but on cards - as the main event on the cardfront: Color a beautiful image in w/ rich colors, put the tacky tape or Crystal Effects all over the image & put the beads on top. It can really be stunning, esp w/ things like large detailed flowers that have been colored in so prettily.

1/4" tape fits perfectly around the edge of the Altoids box. I make matching pen/notepad sets and put a strip over part of the design on the notepad - keeps the theme. Great on a tag. Edge a domino. Shrinky dinks cry for them. Am I starting to sound like QUeen Penneywise?

Default micro beads

Speaking of Queen Pennywise. She was my super sister, and one of the things she did was to cover the entire front of a stamped shopping list. It looks really cool. She also had a pen to go with it. I just added a candle to the art gallery here. I used micro beads over the stamped image. They look good over stamped dominoes too. I use crystal effects to glue them to the front of the dominoe. Thanks for posting this subject!

I love to dress up my dominos with them....just put some 1/4" tape around the edge, and smoosh on some beads!

I just simply glue them to colored/stamped images. My current favorite is in full bloom, stamp, color, and glue the beads to the middle of the flower. Also if you have any underwater style images, just glue the beads to the bubbles.

I have used the wacky tape and purchased a bunch of glassware at the thrift store, bead them and voila you have a candle holder.
I like making stripes etc and designs makes it look neat

Go to www.pennywisearts.com and check out the gallery. She has a few samples there and you can also join her yahoo group where there are classes and tons of ideas.
I was fortunate to be able to meet Queen Pennywise aka Suzanne and see all of her goodies. Oh my goodness, you should see the samples!!!
I won't tell you how much I spent , but suffice it to say, I am now the proud owner of millions of beautiful beads, in lots of glorious colors!!
She is wonderful!

OH!! Here's another great idea that I saw when I visited Queen Pennywise:
Use a punch, say a Christmas tree, and punch out your shape. Use the piece that has the outline of your shape, and put a piece of O'So Sticky adhesive behind the cutout. Smoosh micro beads onto the front, and it will stick to the adhesive in your punched shape. The back side of the adhesive tape will adhere your beaded layer to whatever you want to put it on....a cardfront, gift bag, etc.
Hope that makes sense.

I want to add microbeads to a candle. Should I use Crystal Effects--will they stay on the candle? What if you want to cover the whole candle with microbeads after melting the tissue paper stamped image into it? Would you still use Crystal Effects for this? Any suggestions/tips would be great!

Default pure color pencils

stamp the butterly or pear from ageless adornments... color with layers of pure color pencils (colors that are close to each other on top of each other). crystal effects on just the butterfly wings or the pear body... micro beads.

REALLY COOL.
