Default Help! with altered clipboard

Can anyone tell me how to get the paper around the clip at the top? I made one and used acrylic paint on the top and patterned paper at the bottom, but I would like to use paper on both ends. Any ideas?

Smile Altered Clipboard

Measure your clip board width. Measure from the clip to the outside for both. Take a piece of cardboard and use the measures that you just took.

Or you could take piece of cardboard. Put it in the clip and trace around it. Cut it out and now you have your pattern.

;) I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for that tip. "Duh, That's easy enough, why couldn't I think of that" I said to myself as I read your post.
thanks again.

I have a tough time with the clipboard clip areas, so I have painted that area, or used embellishments like buttons and faux rhinestones in the tight corners, or a combination of both depending on the project.
