Default Greasy cracked glass :(

Here's my problem, my cracked glass items look all greasy :( Like I let the paper soak up the grease from hamburger. It's not solid but in spots.

I stamped my image and then applied versamark and did 2-3 layers of utee.

Is it the versamark that's making the grease spots? Am I using too much? Any other ways to do this?

Thanks!

Not really :( My problem is not the utee looking cloudy but rather the paper itself looks greasy.

Any other thoughts?

Hmmm...sorry I don't realy have any ideas. :? But you might want to post your question to that thread since there were several people there with more experience with this technique. Sorry I'm not more help!

Just a thought...what type of cardstock are you using?

The reason it is greasy is from the Vesamark. To eliminate the greasiness try applying the layers of UTEE while it's still hot and eliminating the Additional Versamark. Of course you will need to use it on your first layer but if you can add the UTEE on the rest of the layers right away while hot you will avoid the greasiness. Hope that helps!

If you melt the UTEE too much, the first layer will soak INTO the paper, giving it a "greasy" look. HTH
