Can anyone tell me what kind of "good" adhesive they use??? I have used a lot of different kinds and still can't find one that I like and that I know will hold up when I mail my cards out. thanks

I use CM tape runners and I haven't had any trouble with them...I ONLY use those ones.
I've started to used the Scrapbook glue stick, in a green and yellow tube and so far so good.
I definitely DO NOT like the Herma runners and, sorry SU girls, but I don't love the Snail adhesive either.
It's a pain and expensive, but I use Scotch double sided tape. I don't care for the herma's either. And when I had tombo'd layers fall apart, I decided "dnough of that". Maybe the effectiveness of the products are affected by our individual climates, because there are so many opinions of "good" adhesives...
I actually use glue dots...they come in all sizes, and they hold SO well. I do use runners once in a while, but every one I have used do not hold well at all.
HTH!

I like Duck brand (some people find it at Walmart, I buy in bulk from Viking). Some people have said their have broken, but of the 8 I've gone through, only 1 did (and, it was my own fault :o ).
I also use the duck brand and i really like it. I have had some break but i still like the way they work. I prefer them more than any other kind. The price isnt to bad either. I get mine from walmart 4 packs for $8.77

I used to love monoadhesive, even though sometimes the cartridges didn't work right, but when they remodeled the cartridge, they also changed the adhesive and now it doesn't hold well. I recently found a tape runner at Walmart called Adhesive Tech Permanent Bond Glue Runner. The refills fit in the old style monoadhesive cartridges. This seems to hold much better than the current mono, but still has the convenience of a tape runner. I can't remember the exact price, but it's a lot less than monoadhesive.
Scotch Double sided tape! You can find it at Sams and Costco in bulk. I purchased a desk top tape dispenser for the tape!! Works great and love it! I got upset with the mono becasue my projects were always falling apart!

Wow, that is a great price. I haven't seen it at my WalMart, I guess I need to check more frequently!

That is good to know -- I'll keep my eyes open for that one too!
I have started to use scotch double stick tape because my cards were falling apart with mono. I also just started using SUs glue sticks and I really like them. They are so much better than the ones my students use at school!

Yes! Glue is great!
Hello. I use a glue called Yes! Glue. I know of 2 places you can get it. Through TAC and at Micheals. It is a paste type glue and hot water (a few drops) can be added to the glue to make it spread easier if it should dry up a little. You get little over a pound of glue in the container and a little spreads a long way. When you are making a card for example you just put a dabble in the corners and graze it down the sides and its stuck. It doesn't dry so quick, so you are able to play around if you need to adjust your placement. It is acid free for Archival work.

I paid $6 for a tombo runner a couple of weeks ago, got home opened it up... there was half of a runner in the package, if you can believe that... the other half of the 'thing' was not included  I was so MAD! I emailed them and I have yet to hear back. :(
