Easy envelope tutorial

Natasha Foote posted a video showing how she makes envelopes. Such an easy no-fuss way to use up your paper stash!

I use a WRMK board to make my envelopes but have to admit, what she shows is so easy I’m likely to use it. But I don’t think I will trim the back down to make it easier for the recipient to get the card out of the envelope. If the flap is glued down, I think most people rip along the top and just pull the card out of the top?

When you receive mail do you try to lift the flap or do you cut along the top fold?

I usually lift the flap, DH uses a paper knife/letter opener and slits the top.

Isn't she creative?  I love her channel - I subscribed a long time ago and can't wait for her to post videos.  Her theory is to "use what you've got" and "make do"  over buying the newest and latest craft items.  If anyone hasn't checked previous videos, give them shot. She even has her daughter in one or two making cards with her 'mum'.  Natasha is a school teacher too... bet her students love her !
